Translations agencies are a reality of the Translation and Interpretation business. They sometimes play an important role in bringing language professionals and those who need their services together as an intermediary. However, the industry in the world and particularly in North America has evolved in such a way that we, translators and interpreters need to learn how to approach and work with them. The workshop will focus on the principles and best practices for approaching and establishing a respectable and mutually beneficial relationship with translation agencies and how to avoid scams.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the workshop. This workshop will be conducted in English only.
This workshop will be presented by Bekircan Tahberer, Certified Translator (STIBC)
Bekircan has been a teacher of languages and a translator for many years. He developed language courses and teaching materials in English and Turkish. He is also a lecturer in history and ancient numismatics.
