ATIO Secretariat, Ottawa – Membership Communications and Support Intern

The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) is the professional association representing and certifying translators, interpreters, and terminologists in the province of Ontario. ATIO has been approved for funding by the Canada Summer Jobs Program to hire for the summer months.

  1. Website content
    Revise existing pages.
    Carry out research.
    Write new subject specific information notes.
    Update relevant information.
  2. Website format and functionalities
    Revise website format (WordPress).
    Revise website functionalities.
  3. Office integration
    Work with Operations Coordinator to establish linkages between new Member 365 database and website’s member facing pages.
  4. Member Survey
    Assist Executive Director in establishing a members’ satisfaction survey (SurveyMonkey).
    Establish key areas of investigation and structure information collection process and tools.
    Prepare communications material for members.
    Launch beta survey.
    Assess initial results and make adjustments to survey format and process.
    Re-Launch and revise information collected.
    Analyse information, determine trends.
    Prepare reports for management.
